Barratt homes

Hi, I am urgently needing advise regarding Barratt homes. My partner and I are interested in a Kingsley 4 bedroom house.

My partner and I met have previously met with a Taylor Wimpey representative and they went through all the added extras we would need to purchase for one of their properties. You could add all this up from their website but I can't see an option for this on Barratt homes? It came to £17,000 for extras!

My question is what are all the extras we would have to purchase once the Barratt home is built? Also, does anyone know of any good deals that can be negotiated on. The Kingsley home that has come up stated that if we reserve by a certain date, we get £19,000 off it for instance. They also have a key worker incentive, which I am.

I just needed feedback please from someone who has bought a Barratt home and what they spent on added extras and any deals/incentives. The site we are looking at in Meadowburne Place, Willington, Eastbourne to be more specific.

Sorry, not in the UK but my only thought is how many power points do they have per room and are they single or double? And where is it/are they located?

Where we are Barrett have the worst reputation for build quality, after sales care etc.

The sort of things they usually put in show homes, aside from blinds, curtains, lighting and furniture are upgrades on worktops, kitchen cupboards, oven and hob. Are they including white goods, carpets, flooring, upgraded switches, upgraded taps and so on.

Some developers are offering stamp duty or cash incentives, presumably depending on how well they’re selling.
