Would you decorate / dress a cheap house for sale ?

It currently has tenants in, very clean and tidy but they don't have much spare income for homely touches.
I am thinking of taking up curtains, rugs, side tables etc for the estate agents photo's but equally it is a cheap house so is it worth the bother ?

Oh I will paint it and tidy it up but was thinking of adding a splash of colour or two, it's very white box at the moment.

I would just clean it to within an inch of its life, make sure the garden is tidy and do any essential repairs.

The most important thing is that it's empty, people can see past the need for paint. Having said that a freshen up is obviously going to give a better impression.

No, just clean and tidy.

Just clean and tidy. And obviously ensure tenants vacate ASAP; I wouldn’t even view a house with tenants in. To be honest I wouldn’t even bother painting, just price accordingly
