Hi, we are expecting in 7 months, so me and my partner are looking to do a quick small extension to create a new nursery. We are looking around for architects for plans, but have heard so many bad things about architects and timings, so we a bit worried.

We came across a online architects company called Arc Plan, there website is www.arcplan.co.uk. They state a online fast service, which we think maybe ideal for us as we don't then have to travel to offices etc. But just want to know if anyone has used them and what your experience has been with them?

They see, to be well reviewed, but any input here will help us.

Thanks my dears.

If it’s only a small extension you don’t need an architect just a competent builder who will be able to liaise with building control and a structural engineer if needed.

Thanks, In the end, we employed Arc Plan, as we heard to many horror stories from our friends, about the risks involved in going with a builder without plans. One of our friends told us how they went with a builder with no plans and 50k later the council building team, made them take it down as wasn't built correct. So that scared us.
Arc Plan, where decently priced and provided really detailed drawings, we also paid them to manage our build (as we where to scared, from stories we heard about builders). To be honest, all in all, we had very little issues, and i would say, as a pregnant women, I'm thankful to Arc plan, as there team delivered the whole build with in 2 months ( with only a few hiccups, that where to be excepted), with very little stress on me and husband... True professional, with speed of drawings and build management.
