House Sale Fell Through How Do I Stay Sane?

A quick recap of my situation.

We put our house (in Scotland) on the market last May. It sold during August to a lovely English couple who were selling tenanted property to buy. The sale process went on and on, we were reassured that the English system takes longer than Scotland and were told at the beginning of November to start packing to move.

On the last week of November it came to light that my buyers, buyer had went AWOL just before completion. They still want our property but were so embarrassed by the situation they urged us to go back on the market.

The owner of property we successfully had an offer accepted on has stayed off the market for us up until now but is planning to go back onto the market in April. I don't blame her for this she has been so understanding with us.

We contacted our original buyers in January and they have reassured us they still intend on buying our property when they can.

We have had a few viewings since but nothing has come of them.

I know I have to just get on with it but the anxiety and stress is overwhelming. Everyday I'm waiting for the phone to ring and can't push past that feeling.

Just looking for advice on how to deal with how I am feeling. I have 2 DC under 4 and can't keep on like this.

That is holding you back. Move on and find a new buyer. I know it feels disheartening but it is what it is. If they come back before you find a new buyer, well and good. If not atleast you can continue selling your house.

They’ve tried but nothing has come of the viewings.
