Is pelaw safe to live?

Hi everyone, is pelaw high street and houses around this area safe? I'm a bit worried due to things said online

It depends on which area you’re looking at really. Personally I wouldn’t want to live in the streets that surround the shops that are there where the Aldi/Lidl/Post Office are.

How about the fisherwell road area?

That is literally right over the road from where the shops are basically just a couple of streets back

Not somewhere I would live, but I’m not aware of it having a super bad reputation. Feel it’s more rough and ready than some areas, but not necessarily unsafe.
