The house looks very uninspiring from the outside but has some lovely features.

Oh that's been badly extended...it's so bland in the new bits and so quirky in the old bits.

Love the giraffe.

My first thought - mowing all that grass. My second thought about the giraffe - wow. I'm not a giraffe lover but I love the idea of having my own panda room.

It is grade 2* listed and I bet they didn't get listed permission for most of the renovations. You could be made to put it all back to how it was which would be ridiculously expensive. Unless that permissions are there, definitely not a good purchase ( because I obviously have that amount of money!). The giraffe is really weird.

Is it a real giraffe, I'd hope not, but even with 3 pics I couldn't tell? Not as cute a the real duck.

Naff-o-rama! And, as pp has said, what about treating a listed old building with taste and respect?
Also, what are all the buildings very close by? Other houses? Converted barns - if so what used for? Etc etc etc.

It’s a beautiful house (giraffe aside) but all I can think about are the heating bills for those huge half empty rooms
