Me and my partner currently rent in Noak bridge and have been looking for a house to buy either there or in Great Berry. We both commute by car and that bit of A127 is almost exactly half way between our two jobs so we’ve not really wanted to look at other areas as this would most likely make our commute >30 mins. We found a lovely house just north of great berry and in the estate encircled by Durham road. We’ve heard bad things about laindon but it also seems silly to discount a house that is literally a five minute walk to great berry which we love. We’ve been to central laindon and as much as it looks a dive, it seems far enough a way from the house to be any issue, what do you think?
