We're in the final stages of planning a dormer loft conversion. Current design has large sliding doors across the back, which doesn't leave us much wall space for a radiator.
Trying to decide whether to swap the doors for a large window instead, giving wall space for radiator (and storage) OR, stick with large doors and install underfloor heating.
Does anyone have underfloor heating in their loft? Does it have to be electric, and does anyone know if it works with carpet, or would it have to be wood/laminate floors? I'm conscious of the noise for the bedrooms below.
Thanks!
