Bathroom sink to minimise cleaning

We're having out bathroom redone. Around the taps is quite a faff to clean. I'm looking for easy-to-clean designs. I'm thinking the ones where the tap comes directly from the wall are good for this reason?

For the bath use a dual purpose overflow so no need for any taps at all.

As a cleaner, I’d agree that would be a good choice. Avoid the waterfall type and stick to chrome - no black, bronze, copper or gold. All of which would suffer if you used a descaler on them.
