Electric shower not working.. we get about 10 seconds of hot water and the. 30 seconds of absolutely freezing. So do I need a plumber or an electrician? I'm so confused and tired of getting a cold shower

turn it off, it could be dangerous. I would say electrician first and foremost - although when we had this problem all that the electrician did was condemn it - and then we got a plumber to put in a new - non electric one over the bath, plumbed in to the bath taps.

You need a bathroom fitter to replace it.

I just looked into this today and its probably £400-£500.

Bathroom fitter or plumber. Either source a new electric shower for them or they may get you one - which may be more expensive. We got one from Argos for about £180 and paid £60 for fitting.

Whenever this has happened to me, it's always been limescale resulting in a new shower.
