Anybody know what is a decent amount to pay for this?
Ive got 2 medium and 1 small room that need to be done (3 walls and half a ceiling need to be completely repaired/reboarded).
Ive had issues even getting anybody to come and give me a quote so I only have 2 to go on. One was £4500 and one was £2300! So huge difference!
Both were found off Checkatrade and had multiple current, verified positive reviews.
Now Im not sure whats what!
I have booked the guy who quoted £2300 before I got the other quote as he seemed nice (also cleared my guttering and fixed my window for free when he came round!).
So does £2300 sound doable? I dont mind paying abit more, I just like to know upfront and if anything this guy was almost saying he could do it for cheaper!

Not had that much work done myself but I paid £575 for partial boarding of a ceiling (small area approx 3ftx9ft) and skimming over artex on the same ceiling with an area of 9ftx9ft. So for 3 whole rooms including boarding of some areas £2300 sounds about right to me.
