Do I need a re wire?

Can anyone tell me if this style fuse box needs upgrading, and if this indicates the whole property needs a re wire?

Probably doesn't need a rewire due to old cable but I'd want a competent electrician to have a look because that's a real bodge job.

I'd get an electrical report from a qualified electrician. They'll tell you about the state of the board and do a continuity test on the wiring, as well as checking the wiring on a selection of sockets. etc.
