Help me choose my wallpaper?

These are things I've bought so far...

Room is painted green on all walls. Wardrobes painted in matching green

White ceilings with coving around the top.

Ornate ceiling rose with gold light fixing.

Gold table lamp with fuschia lampshade

Fuschia cushions

I need a wallpaper to tie it all in together.

And a rug. And bedding.

Any suggestions?

I'm also redecorating a bedroom at the moment and want green wallpaper.

There's not a great selection out there - it doesn't seem to be a trendy colour and what there is is all jungle patterns.

I'm thinking of going just stripes.

Flooring and coving.

Ceilings are 10ft and large windows.

Yes everything has leopards or birds in it. Or just giant leaves.

Does it have to be green wallpaper.
How about a dusky pink or a more neutral

I'd like a mostly pink wallpaper.

But that maybe picks up the green a little.

Have you looked at little green wallpapers? Lots of big collections, many of which might suit really nicely

Could you ( or your decorator, it’s high up) paint the cornice in a contrasting colour. That would tie it all together without the wallpaper element , a ‘feature wall’ doesn’t look particularly in keeping with you very classically proportioned room. A soft pink with beige tones would work well. ( I’ll try to find one ).

Could you add a mixed green and pink cushion to break things up a bit as well? Have you bought the curtains? If not, you could add some colour in there too.

That is Zoffany, but you get the idea. Valspar do a good range of colours with free shade cards.
The fabric is Morris Golden Lily. The paper is from the Rug Seller. ( I’ve a bit of a thing for Chinoiserie at the moment, more subtle than jungles but still varied colours)

Oh I can't paint up there. I like the idea but I just wouldn't be able to do it neatly.

You think I'd I ditched the bright pink and stuck with blush and mulberry tones this would work?

I wouldn't do anything until you've sent off for samples (maybe lots!) as the colours on the screen won't look exactly the same in your bedroom. I also think it's hard to judge he size of a pattern until you see it for real. Good luck!

I ahve to wing it I'm afraid. I don't have enough time to wait for samples as it need to be done this week.

the hot pink and dusky pink could clash so it would be great to see how you make it work. I’ve bought wallpaper without samples but it was the first item, so matched paint and accessories to it. Finding wallpaper is surprisingly tricky.
