I'm trying to relocate to Essex anywhere between Upminster and shoeburyness. I'm finding private renting impossible due to not having a guarantor. Does anyone know a good home swapping site? Or a way around not having a guarantor??

If you have enough savings, I have heard that people sometimes offer a years rent up front to make themselves seem a safer bet to landlords - could possibly work in lieu of a guarantor?
