Bathroom and electrics knowledge

Anyone seen anything like this in a bathroom before..??! Looks like a tablet but incredibly rusted.... Doesn't do anything as it is? Electrician took a glance and said doesn't think it's hard wired but doesn't seem keen on investigating further!

Any knowledge appreciated!

Looks like an old tele, and speakers

It’ll be a bathroom TV - these were meant to be the future 10 years ago before tablets were such a big thing!

Wow a bathroom TV 😂 who'd have thought it! Would it be hard wired, do you think?

What do you mean by hard wired? Looks like the tv has lots of water damage and rusted. So don't try and watch it 🤣

When we went to Japan on our holidays, there were screens around the bath. We used to set the timer to run the bath with exact temperature of the bath water 😀

Hard wired means mains wired -240v

Yeah, that's a bathroom tv & speakers. I remember when they came out. I'm surprised they put it exactly at tap level though.. They were super expensive when they came out..

Yes I mean mains wired with 240v... Basically can I take it out myself?!
