Spec for power washer

After spending a couple of hours scrubbing the dogs yard with yard brush and bio detergent on Saturday, I am resolved to investing in a power washer.

What should I look for?

There's a karcher K7 power available for €449.99, K5 Power for €399 K4 Power for €248.99 and K3 horizontal for €119. I've seen the karcher K7 for up to €640

I want it for power washing yards & footpaths and the walls of the house, probably car too.

I don't want to buy something and regret that I didn't spend a bit more.

K4, we have one, best thing ever. Very heavy though.

Be extremly careful with the "Dirt Blaster" thing, you can seriously injure yourself, DO NOT wear sandals when using it!

It's also got a metal pump, which (according to him who knows all) is better.

That was just what I needed to hear, because it's €200 cheaper than the K7 which is massive!

I have K5 compact. It's pretty strong. Great for cleaning patios etc.

I think you need to be a bit careful with it on the high power, for example washing cars, but it is not hard to turn the power down or use less power.

I have used the K2 and it never felt like it could do any serious damage to say a car, OTOH it struggled cleaning the moss off the drive whereas the K5 more than deals with that.
