Bathroom soil pipe. Move it under floor?

Doing up the bathroom. I want to replace the bath with a walk in shower. Unfortunately it looks like the soil pipe from the toilet runs underneath the sink and the bath. This would mean we'd need to run the pipe under the floor instead. Is it a big job? This bathroom appears to be costing a fortune already 😩

It depends which way floor joists run. It might be impossible.

Never impossible. If you’re lucky and the joists run in the right direction then it’ll be easy / perhaps a bit of a fiddle for a joist or two depending on where they exit. If you’re not lucky then the common solution is to raise the floor slightly in the bathroom so you can then run the soil pipe under. You’ll create a height difference of course so will have a step into new bathroom, but with a nice threshold it’ll look just fine.
