Are you selling or buying a house in Surrey?

Is anyone trying to sell a home in Surrey at the moment? I'm in Dorking sort of area. EA said demand is still very high in Surrey, despite housing market challenges. Thought my 3 bed semi would be pretty sought after (and it's been fully renovated over the past few years) but things have been slower than I expected.

First time I've sold a property - when I was a buyer in 2018 houses around here were selling so fast. Is it just my house or is EA being overly optimistic?

I think probably you haven't taken into account the new costs of borrowing. You need to price competitively to bring in the offers. Your agent is probably right about the area being busy but hasn't yet had the "price expectation" conversation with you yet.
