Pull-out kitchen taps

We've recently had our kitchen refit but there have been no end of problems with the pull out tap we originally chose so now we have to choose a different tap.

Is it worth looking for a bog standard tap or shall we persevere with a different brand of pull-out tap?

We're looking for a brushed chrome, nickel appearance.

Any advice or suggestions!

Thanks

The Tap Factory - Vibrance Tube is one we have had for almost 4 years. Ours is black with brushed stainless steel. It's not exactly a pull out but similar effect.

I had to look it up and I don't remember the brand being called that though. It was called something like 1864. But it's the same tap.

I like it very much.

We have just had our kitchen done and chose a Frankie active twist L spout nickel tap. So far no issues with it.

Hi Bidbury&Co (UK company) have pull-out spray taps - brass, nickel, chrome, pewter (kitchens). Better quality than perrin and rowe (US company) about same price I think but you can buy a single pull-out from Bidbury. With perrin and rowe you have to buy it with another tap which seemed daft

We have Villeroy boch. It’s been 2.5 years and no problems at all

I've got a Gessi one. I think it's been 10 years now and it's great. Mine is chrome but I'm sure they do brushed ones.

Thanks all.

We went for Franke Tessuto brushed steel pull out 'J' shape tap and it's fab. We weren't charged for it following the issues we had with our original choice (which they replaced twice to check it wasn't an isolated incident, too). None of them are cheap so think we cost them a lot in taps!

Very happy now.
