Kitchen wrapping

Has anyone had their kitchen wrapped? The laminate on my doors has started to come away but need the kitchen to last a few more years so I'm considering having it wrapped, I've heard conflicting reports about it, peeling etc
I've had a couple of quotes which were vastly different and I'm now awaiting samples to see colour and quality of the wrap.
Has anyone got any good reports or nightmare stories?

Just considering this as an option for our kitchen and wonder if you could say what the range of quotes were? Appreciate will vary by kitchen size but I’ve no starting point and don’t want to start on the quotes just yet, to get bombarded by sales people! Thanks.

I've now had it done :)

my kitchen is quite large and has a lot of units, there are 23 doors and 7 drawer fronts along with all the cornice, side panels, plinths etc.

I opted for a better quality wrap for the worktops as I liked the colour and no other manufacturer did that colour although I now wish I had stuck to plain gloss white and it would have been a lot cheaper.

I've invested in a lot of chopping boards so there's always one handy for hot pans, cutting veg etc

The final price was around £2000, it would have been £400 cheaper without the expensive worktop wrap and I also had a breakfast bar shortened and it took the fitter 4 days to do.

It's definitely given the kitchen a new lease of life but I don't think it would stand up to wear and tear with small kids/teenagers/busy household but there's just me and I will look after it so it will be fine for a few years.

I also had a quote from Dream Doors to fit new doors, worktops etc and that was £11000 which was out of my price range.
