New boiler, where to start?

I’ve been told my combi boiler is on borrowed time and I need to start looking for a new one. I don’t really understand the jargon so can anyone help me by telling me what I need to look for.
we have a small 3 bedroom semi detached. Our old one is a Worcester green star 28i junior combi. Family of 2adults 2 kids shower used at least once a day.

I hear you! It’s confusing and British Gas are so expensive. I went with heatable ltd and they were a) good at cutting through the jargon and b) so reliable. I had a huge issue on installation and the managing director personally got involved. Their customer service was impeccable. I recall their website was very good a well as I just typed in what had broken and how big my house was etc and they recommended from there.
