Waiting 8 days to hear about offer

I've offered on a property via purplebricks but haven't heard anything since I offered 8 days ago. I've sent a message to the seller but again no response. Is this normal?! Is there a way of getting in touch with them?

It's been on a while so would have assumed they'd be excited to recieve an offer!

Have heard some weird things about Purple Bricks, unsure what’s going on with them.

Is the seller living in the property? Are you in a position to put a note through the door if so?

Purple bricks are pretty useless in my experience. I would put a note through the door though you say you have also sent a message to the seller?

This property has very little chance of selling with an EA and seller so unmotivated! Carry on looking while waiting for them to get their act together.

We wanted to look at a local bungalow which was on with Purple Bricks. We called and I spoke to a young woman who although trying to be helpful, didn't seem to know whereabouts in the country we or the property were. She said she would pass our details on to a colleague so that a viewing could be arranged. Several days later, having heard nothing, I called again and was assured that the agent that dealt with our geographical area would call us very shortly.

We're still waiting for that call. It will be four years next month! Draw your own conclusion.

Book to view the house again and ask the estate agent?

Call and ask what is the delay and you will soon find out if its the sellers or the EA.

Either way, it looks like a waste of time to me as those that are serious about selling often come back within 24 hours if not sooners.

However, sellers could have personal probs best way to act now is as above, ie contact them and demand action
