Hello, can you cancel a tradesperson work if their equipment has caused damage half way through day one of their work ? Tia

No but we did pay a first instalment .

You can cancel anyone at any time - it’s your house and who you have in it is your business / prerogative. This probably needs a bit of expansion however - what has happened and how do you know it’s their fault?
