background info - live on a main road - only four bungalows with the same postcode, all band D. This is same banding for bungalows worth 100k to 300 k more than ours but located in the better parts of town and quieter streets. I know they base the banding on what your property was worth in 1991. The oldest data I can find online relating to these four properties is two sales in 1999. How can I find out what the value of them was in 1991?
I have used the Halifax and Nationwide calculator but if you want to appeal your banding they won’t use those figures as they don’t think they are accurate. Basically I think our property was worth less than 68,000 in 1991 and if it was then we should have been a band C. But I need more proof if my appeal is to be successful. Any advice
