Live with no laundry facilities or other options?

We’re about to start our house renovation - first step in the process is to knock down our existing laundry room and our whole downstairs will be uninhabitable for a few months. We’re planning to live upstairs and have reconfigured a bit for this but nowhere for them to go up there at all…

I’ve ‘bought’ (as in paid a deposit but can change anything up to 4 weeks before install) our kitchen and laundry cupboards etc)

Would it be crazy to just sell / get rid of washer and dryer when the build starts and add integrated ones to my kitchen / laundry order? I can go to my mums occasionally, use a laundrette I suppose for a while… I can’t think of another option but not sure how realistic this sounds?

What have others done?

Thanks in advance!

Are you getting new appliances as part of your downstairs? Seems pointless to keep the old ones if you can't accommodate them.
We get through loads of laundry, but it has been very satisfying having service washes when the washing machine was broken. Might be pricey for a few months through.

Can u put washer outside connect it to outside tap
you can get those plastic shed things about £80 a lot of mobile homes do this
or if your going to skip washer just cover it over with tarpaulin

Is there anywhere downstairs they can be left tucked out of the way while the builders are there? We did this with our washing machine, then at the weekend ran the hoses to the tap/ drain so we could use the machine. We were keeping the washing machine and dishwasher though (already integrated ones, so being reused in the new kitchen) so needed to have space for them somewhere. They ended up in the garage and builders worked round them.
