I wouldn't mind a genuine Swiss chalet. I'd be kitting it out with lots of wooden furniture and rugs.

And keeping the huge basement empty because good grief, the flooding.

It's got a village hall look about it unfortunately. I think it needs to be filled with furniture for a better effect.

The view from the river is nice. But there’s a main road just behind it. Traffic noise 24/7. Also it’s in a London suburb. Interesting and lots of potential, but not my idea of a weekend place tbh.

It's been on and off the market for a while - seem to have been on for £3.5m last year!

The owner has been charged with fraud concerning houseboats on the Thames next to the house and it seems it might have been repossessed.
