Beading or moulding for plant on mouldings?

Hey, we want to add moulding to our walls. DH thinks we can use the ogee beading but I think we should use plant on mouldings that I have found. Well he had already purchased the beading so..:: Does anyone know if beading without any panels on the wall will look acceptable? Don't want to have to be embarrassed when people come over later ConfusedWink Also don't fancy doing it all over again. Or do I have to add panels now?! Will take too long probably and more cost.. . Painter booked to work on room soon.. One of the few DIY jobs planned and starting off great already....

Thank you all!

I’ve see people on TikTok videos who have just stuck beading/moulding to the wall instead of doing panels. NGL, it doesn’t look great. I’m not a fan of panels tbh but at least they look nicely done.

Mhmmm yeah I see your point... Stupid question: is it possible to add panels after beading?

You don't need panels. Moulding will be fine. And no you can't add panels after you have done the moulding.
