Scratching under floorboards

I have heard scratching under floorboards in the kitchen. Seemed to be coming from where fridge was so moved that but no holes or dropping s. We had a rat problem a few years ago resulting in pest control and a dead one under floorboards. we re did kitchen and flooring making sure no holes or gaps anywhere. What do we do now??

We had a rat in the loft last year, try the following worked for us.....Assuming that you live in a house, I suggest that you carefully check for small holes in the ground near walls and plants near air bricks where mice can gain access. If your house is a semi check your neighbour's house also. Once your house is secure then the mouse will die in due course. If you can, try to place a trap under the floor to expedite things.
