Shower help!

Since changing my shower head there’s an awful noise like really loud vibrating and it’s driving me insane! The only way to stop it is to turn it off or turn the head to the massage setting. Sadly my boyfriend forgets and I have to endure 20 minutes of the pipes vibrating!!! Help!

Did you buy one of those silly new designs with a rotor inside ? We did and put it in the bin after a week.

Just check that the washer is seated correctly, Ive seen this before where it has become partly wedged into the shower head and causes a restriction on the flow resulting in vibrating noise.

No but I have been looking at them so I’ll make a note not to get one!

Is it a loud ticking sound ? From the pipework or the shower head itself ?

Sounds like it might be pipes banging. Maybe the back pressure in the head is causing it.

New shower heads aren't that pricey. Get from amazon and swap out, can return it if the same problem occurs and keep swapping til you get one that works.

Or get a new boyfriend.
