Wholesale carpet.

I want to carpet my whole house (nearly) in a neutral, hardwearing carpet. Is there a cost effective way of doing this? Can I buy a massive roll of carpet wholesale and some underlay and then pay a fitter? Does this work out cheaper? If so, where can I buy carpet?

Yes, this is a thing. You can even buy "end of rolls" / "offcuts" from companies that carpet big commercial contracts, where 'what is left' is plenty to carpet a smaller house.
It's just finding one in your area.

If you are in the midlands just go around the factory shops in Kidderminster.

Try designer carpets online. They sell roll ends at good prices. Get the fitter to supply underlay. It will be cheapest than designer carpets.

Ok, this is great news. If anyone knows a good place in the south East (I'm in West Sussex) that would be great.
Thank you
