I'm at the final choosing stages for my ensuite refit and am stalling on the tiles or shower panels issue and whether to fully tile/panel.
Relatively small room, shower along 1 short wall, WC & cabinetry opposite & combined sink/worktop and cabinetry along the window wall.
- Tile/panel the whole room.
- Tile/panel just the shower area & splashback over cabinets to window level (will only be about 10cm) and windowsill.
- Tile/panel shower area and remaining room to window level.
If I do 2 or 3, should I also fully tile the wall from the shower to the door, where the towel radiator will be?
Any shower panel recommendations??
Ideally looking for a largish tile format, not sure about colours, not keen on grey but it does go with pink...
Pictures below.
Drawing 1 was original thoughts, I've ditched the wall units and moved the towel rail to the opposite wall.
Pic 2 is a mock up I did online, again wall cabinets have been ditched and the the "tall cabinet" is actually the boarded out soil stack.
Pic 3 is a mock up from the cabinet supplier. Window is above the sink and I'm putting a mirror, or mirrored wall cabinet next to the window above the cabinet.
And then I need to choose flooring.....
