Part exchange with RedRow

Hi,

Has anyone part exchanged their house with RedRow for a new build? I'm currently in a 1920s semi but have seen a nice newbuild estate offering part exchange.

I'm a bit wary really on a few things, do they only do part exchange on the houses they can't sell, would they even want my house, how do I know I won't be ripped off etc.

If anyone has any experience in this I'd love to hear it, thanks.

No experience with RedRow but I am currently PX’ing with Taylor Wimpey. I was pleasantly surprised by the readiness of TW to PX and the transparency and simplicity of the process.
The purchase price of the new property needed to be at least 30% more than the value of the house being sold to qualify. TW commissioned an independent valuation from an EA and a survey / home report (in Scotland) both of whom valued at a fair and higher than expected price. TW then offered 95% of that. I get the benefit of no EA fees and no worry about entry dates / bridging loans / short term rental charges.
I would thoroughly recommend if the offer is reasonable, you eliminate much of the hassle and the uncertainty of moving schedules, chains ( in England ) etc.
