Options for lighting in fitted wardrobe - LEDs

I want to have lighting in my new bespoke wardrobes (MDF). I have been offered option of LED's at the back, but I really would like it at the front, so I can see better. Does anyone have any lighting in their wardrobes? I am looking for ways it could be installed. Ideally I wanted recessed (LED strips) but might be to expensive to make? What other options are there? Would be very grateful for any advice

TIA

I wanted a strip like this down the side also. Now this might be too expensive maybe, so need to think....

Can't you buy motion sensor stick on ones now? So you could put some where you want them.

Agree to this! Way cheaper and as PP said you can put them where you want (and change your mind and move if you need to!)

it might be that you think you want them at the front but it’s possible they would blind you every time you open the wardrobe! 🫣
