The background : Some of you may remember the fairly long thread in November last year where my son was selling a maisonette which (according to various people was not a maisonette) and I had apparently asked the same question before (I hadn't!). I had to have the thread removed as I had inadvertently criticised the agents who were not very happy at being identified.
I had asked for opinions on photos etc, and received many helpful responses, as well as many not so helpful ones, which included telling me that my son and girlfriend were too young to buy a house together! (they are both 22).
I made some of the suggested changes, and within a few days an offer was received, and they exchanged today and should be completing this Friday. The apartment is lovely, and he pretty much got the asking price so I think both the buyer and seller have a good deal.
He is waiting to exchange on their purchase (a house) this week ...
Many thanks for the helpful suggestions on the previous thread and please keep fingers crossed for him that the purchase goes through this week as well!
