Where to live in Warrington?

We would be relocating to Warrington soon. I am a doctor, Asian and currently in South Wales. I have got a post at Warrington and Halton Hospital. The job requirement would be to cross cover both sites, however not sure how many days each site. I have 2 kids aged 7 and 3.

I am looking for recommendations for some place with good school, easy commute to hospitals bearing childcare in mind as well. Having gone through previous threads, I am concerned about the traffic as well as heard the parking situation at hospital is not the best.

I have also read in previous threads to avoid places around Warrington hospital. I was however, thinking of finding place around Bewesy to avoid commute/parking. Would that be recommended?

We would be looking to rent for now, but would hope to have our own house soon and would preferably want to be based around same place to avoid changing school.

I have looked at places like Great Sankey, Westbrook, Callands and Woolston but not sure if commuting/childcare will be manageable? I am also aware the best places are in South Warrington or even Manchester but that would make commuting very hard, given I would be working full time 9 to 5 (usually longer).

Apologies for the long post, but any help would be really appreciated.

I have just come across your post today , 6 months after your posting, hopefully you have already found your place for the relocation . However, in case not, you may consider Appleton which is on South Warrington. There is a development under DWH Homes - Orchard Meadows . Phase 2 have the last 4 4-bed detached house still available at the moment. You can look at DWH ‘s Orchard Meadows website for more house details. There are outstanding and good schools around Appleton and location-wise is between Warrington Hospital and Halton General Hospital which is 15 mins drive from either hospital. I think it suits your job commuting and school requirements . I have been living in the development for over a year and found it a good place to live. Hope this info helps.
