Hi there, I'm just looking for some info before I approach anyone for a quote.

We have a perfectly reasonable kitchen currently, but it is white gloss "new build" and I would really love to change the doors/end panels/handles, obviously we would keep the actual cupboard carcasses.

It was originally fitted by howdens, would this be our best value option to replace the above? I've seen some online companies selling doors etc but I think I'd need to measure these myself for a quote?

Do howdens sell to the public or would someone need a trade account?

Thank you

There website looks like its trade only. Could you contact them and ask if they could make an exception. https://www.howdens.com/help-and-advice/about-us/contact-us or maybe they could advise you as to which doors available to the public are a good fit?

Contact Howdens

Contact Howdens at hundreds of depots UK wide for in-depth product advice and customer service in your area. Or you can call Howdens customer service on 01604 876000.

@hairbearbaby have you thought about having the doors wrapped? They have a gloss white wrap on and you can have the doors wrapped, lots of companies do it, there may be one local to you where you can visit a showroom. They are also able to cover end panels etc. Far less waste as you are not removing the doors. Just google kitchen door wrapping and your area. I have been looking into this for my kitchen but I won't be doing it until next year so have not been in any showrooms.

Howdens is trade. You can buy just doors from lots of places.

We bought our kitchen from Howdens and we are not in the trade!

We paid Howden direct for the stuff and paid a fitter separately. As I understand it sometimes your fitter supplies the kitchen you choose and then add then add a mark-up on Howdens price.

Howdens asked us if we were buying direct or through a fitter.
