Building dust help

Still have builders in, they're cutting a lot of wood (and some plaster wall) next to my unplugged washing machine and tumble dryer. Machines covered carefully by them on the sides front and tops with protection ... but not the backs and the backs are exposed to the dust... wood cutter directly next to them .. now I am so worried that this could have ruined my machines.

Any experience with this?

The machine are both quite new and were very expensive ... Hate myself for not seeing this sooner...

TIA

Just hoover the dust off when the builders are done. It will be fine.

It’s fine, dust off and hoover, better yet use (there?) hvac hoover that catches all the dust. Open your windows too to get fresh air in.

Thanks for your reassuring responses. Definitely will hoover the dust off.
Do you think it's fine even if it's been a week they have been cutting in there... ?
They will need a few more days also... I will cover the machines now? Sorry I am a nervous wreck with the ongoing works! Can't wait for completion....
