Motorised Blinds that Blackout

After years of having stick on blinds, cheap blinds, toddler ‘gro’ blinds, cardboard, tape, you name it…

I’m finally biting the bullet and getting motorised roller blinds.

Do any exist that actually block out ALL light - eg down the sides?

Something like the Velux powered blinds would be great, which fully cover the window & frame so no light leakage - but I can’t find any in bigger window sizes.

Please recommend. They must be blackout and powered is a must (for disability)

Blocblinds do
motorised versions. I have only used standard (with which I have been impressed).

Bloc blinds look exactly what I am after, thank you!

I can see a separate hub is available too so I can voice control via Alexa - bonus.

Although they are more pricey than I had expected. Any alternatives?

Bloc blinds like others have side channels so there is no gap at the edges of the blind. I did a quick google for "motorised blind with side channels" and it brought up this company but I think once you know what you are looking for then it helps in your search.
