Radon Potential 3-5 percent! Help!

Hi, me and my partner found a property we really like in Croydon but it was revealed in the searches that it has a Radon Potential of 3-5 percent and now we are both very anxious about the implications. We are considering Radon bonds and testings but there’s a lot of uncertainty that comes with it.

Is this just based on the area? In which case all houses round there will have a similar risk profile.
Or, is there something about the property that will have tipped it into a intermediate risk of radon (under 1% is low risk)?

Hi, the 3-5 percent radon potential is already in the medium/ intermediate level area. Which is so disheartening, as it is not even in the low risk area..
