Drain leaf thingy

Can anyone offer any advice on what I need to stop my drain clogging up with leaves and rubbish? It's maybe hard to see from the picture but there are four pipes going down into the drain and I've only seen covers where the pipes stop at floor level of where there is one pipe. I put off sorting it out and ended up with terrible flooding in my kitchen when it got full of builders rubble so I can neglect it no longer!

I don't think you'll find an off the peg one to fit that however you could make something yourself.

Go to diy store or garden centre and buy some strong chicken wire then using pliers you can bend and cut it to make a bespoke box shape that fits .... or alternatively find someone handy who could make it for you Smile

That's a great idea, thanks Teasall!

I've never seen that where there's multiple pipes going right down into the drain. Can they not be trimmed so they sit on top of the drain?

I bought a pack of two metal drain covers recently from B&Q and it covers the drain perfectly.
