Noisy neighbours

Can anyone recommend soundproofing for a 1930s semi house...the soundproofing on adjoining wall is terrible...

Either companies who'll do it, or DIY panels etc.

I'm guessing you are trying to reduce airborne noise as opposed to impact noise.

I had professional soundproofing installed almost five years ago (1970's build) but it was expensive, but at least I don't hear my neighbour through the lounge wall.

It's not been tested with music though as they don't play music, but my guess would be that I would still be able to hear music if it were played loud enough but it would be more muffled than if there was no soundproofing.

Do thorough research before installing soundproofing, would be my advice.
