We will soon have a large L shaped kitchen diner with bifolds leading out to a patio.

DH is very ‘you choose’ and I’m struggling. I won’t ever be able to afford to do this again.

His thing is that the same floor goes inside and outside and we can have one complete floor of kitchen and patio when we open bifolds (I wanted crittal doors 😂)

Our kitchen will be off white, dark blue island and white quartz worktops. Also blue media wall and probably white dining table and dark blue fabric chairs.

What floor goes here? I can visualise and know every other room. I have pictured this kitchen for years but I guess my eyes didn’t scan down… 😂

In most pictures I Google the floor is stone, my mum says no. (Not sure why, so am open to experiences?)

Thank you in advance if you have any suggestions!

We are having a kitchen, dinning room and snug extension leading out to the garden now. We are going for LVT (Amtico) as it’s waterproof as previously we had a washing machine flood which ruined our previous laminate flooring. We are having a wood effect to give a warmth effect and also as it has a snug as it’s north facing. Also as it leads directly out into the garden it should be easy to clean with muddy footprints.
