Something on the deeds

Wise MN please talk me off the ledge. We are due to complete next Wednesday and our lawyer called today to say that on the deeds of the house we are meant to complete on there is a legacy pending bankruptcy notice there. He isn't overly concerned about it as it isn't to do with our seller but who they bought this house from. Suggestions / wisdoms / experiences with this 🙏🏻

If it's a PA(B) Notice and not a WO(B) notice, it's nothing to worry about. Ask him to ask the Land Registry to start removing it. It should have been removed when the registered owner was changed, should be straightforward.

@mrswarthog thank you, we are seeing the lawyer tomorrow to sign paperwork so will ask for clarity and my own inquisitive mind! I'm taking from it as we are still going as is it won't be a huge drama 🤞🏻
