I have sanded pine kitchen table and need to protect it from water stains etc. Is Osmo oil the right stuff?

Yep, their polyx oil is great for this.

Yep, their polyx oil is great for this.

I would give it a sanding first, ideally with a random orbital sander, with progressively finer paper, P80 > P120 > P240.

Then apply at least three THIN coats of Osmo Polyx Oil, leaving 24 hours between coats. lightly sand with P240 on coats 1 & 2.

Thanks both!

Morrells is also very good and with a few coats it will be completely waterproof.
