Master bedroom colours

Help! It turns out I’m rubbish at making bedrooms look and feel cosy and luxurious!

we’re about to get new wardrobes fitted, which are a light oak surround and a dark blue glass. This covers one wall.

second wall will have bed, with cream headboard, bedside tables and dressing table with mirror above.

Third wall wall window

forth wall two doors (en suite and way in)

need curtains, bedding and wall colours.

anyone any ideas? Now regretting glass choice in wardrobes as I’m worried about putting other colours in, but don’t want all cream.

Hmm! Blue glass. I’d regret that too. I’d have opaque “white” glass and dark blue walls. Pure white on the bed. Can you change the glass? It won’t be that expensive to do! It’s a permanent feature so I’d go neutral and use colour on the walls.

Glass can’t be changed. We’ve chosen and it’s been ordered. It’s three panel on the wardrobe, 2 doors. They look fab, just complicated room colours. All the rooms on Pinterest are massive, it’s not a huge room and I don’t know if all blue will be too much.

I think white on the walls then. Use fabrics with hues of blue and white. Seaside stripes are obvious but other schemes might appeal. Use yellow to add a bit of colour - cushions? Shades of blue for a throw.

Some ideas that would work. In my view. All Farrow and Ball. Obviously not all bedrooms but these rooms have layers of neutral colour to which you can add your blue. Or shades of blue.
