Can anyone offer any advice on a soundproof from door?

We have a UPVC white door with a huge window in it, this came with the house we bought 3 years ago and I'm fed up of hearing everything through it.

Has anyone successfully fitted a fairly soundproof front door?

Try a heavy curtain in front of it. Quick and easy and improves thermal loss. (Dunelm have a sale!) If you have a letterbox fit some insulation/draught excluder vent to it.

we have a composite front door, which is good at soundproofing. But there is only one small piece of peephole style glass and no letterbox.

Thank you. I think we will look at a composite one without a letter box and a smaller window!

You need a new door. My last new door was a composite with very little glass and the reduction in noise was remarkable. It also kept the heat in.
