Fire Regulations / Compliant Flat Entrance Doors

Hi all, I am wondering if there is anyone who can advise me re flat entrance doors and compliance with fire regulations.

The management company for our block of flats have informed us that following changes to fire regulations on 23 January 2023, all flat entrance doors must have an annual survey to ensure they are compliant with fire regulations.

Can anyone advise me what makes an entrance door compliant with updated fire regulations? Does it have to be a certain door model, or comply to a specific standard, or is it sufficient to have a door with a self closing mechanism and intumescent strip?

I have googled but can’t find clear advice / info online. If anyone can point me in the right direction to find this info it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hopefully this helps https://www.london-fire.gov.uk/safety/the-home/fire-doors/ How old is your flat/door? If it's less than 10 years old chances are your door is already compliant. The survey only takes a couple of minutes - well worth it for peace of mind.

Thanks @TitsInAbsentia, that’s helpful. Still not sure if doors need to meet a certain specification, and how to tell if they do.
