I feel this must somehow be possible or have been overcome already by others but I just can't find anything online for this scenario?
I live in a house with no road access outside, so no driveway. However I do have a garage (brick built) set away from my house about 40/50 metres away. It's in a carpark in a mixture of council owned and private owned garages. The garage has no electric hooked up, it's just a small brick garage, if relevant I have a lamp post by the side of my garage.
I have an electric car and I would love to somehow get an EV charger installed rather than rely on public chargers.
Is there a way I can hook the garage up to electric?
What could I do, I have asked the council about getting a public charger installed in the carpark but they say i can only recommend our carpark as a space to install them in the future. Very unlikely to happen.
Can I somehow contact the grid to hook the garage up, but can this be done independent of my house and how would I even do this and would it be too costly?
Clearly I'm clueless but any advice would be appreciated?
