Clapham vs Hampstead

We are looking at buying our first home, a 1-2 bed flat with outside space. I like Clapham, Battersea and between the commons area. More for your money and pleasant surroundings.

Dh prefers Hampstead area, seems a bit posher, but more expensive and better connected. It feels a bit older than Clapham but that might jot be a bad thing as we are approaching 30 (!)

I grew up in Hampstead. There’s nothing like it, excellent schools and the Heath, fabulous shops. I don’t think I’d ever cook..

Problem is, if you’re buying your first home in Hampstead, you need to be pretty sure you’ll be able afford the next move as you won’t wasn’t to keave!
