What's the best kind of garage door?

All the info I can find online is from companies pushing their product. I want something that won't develop a fault or need a lot of maintenance. What did you decide on and how much did you pay (and when) please?

We have an electric roller shutter door. It's about 6 years old and had needed no maintenance. It's made a big difference to how warm the house is* and is really convinient to use. It was fitted by a local company and cost about £1500 6 years ago.

• it replaced an up n over door, which obviously needed a gap around the edges to move, so there was constant draft, which made the bedroom above cold.
